Crynodeb
You will be expected to manage the school kitchens on a day-to day basis according to the standards laid down by Ceredigion County Council.
The role includes:
• Travelling to various sites throughout the County as needed;
• General kitchen duties including washing up of equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds;
• To prepare and serve meals to residents and pupils;
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen at all times;
• Ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards.
On a day to day basis you will:
• Undertake the preparation and serving of meals;
• General kitchen duties including washing up of equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds;
• Setting up the tables and clearing if required;
• Recording the temperature of food at the point of service;
• Ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards;
• Ensuring EEC standards on Manual Handling;
• General Health and Safety of kitchen including hazardous equipment.

• Experience/knowledge of working within a catering environment;
