Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for helping others? We are looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to older adults in a hospital setting.
We are an 18 bedded Female Functional Acute Ward within the Dementia and Frailty Speciality. We care for Female older adults that are suffering from severe and enduring mental health problems that require inpatient care to meet their current support needs and level of risk.

The core duties of an Healthcare support worker are centred around practical and emotional support. You would be expected to:
Personal Care- Assisting patients to wash, dress, using the toilet, and maintaining personal hygiene.
Mobility- Ensuring that patients are mobilising safely whether that be independently or with aids.
Nutrition and Hydration- Assistance in feeding if required, encourage hydration and document in patient records.
Activities- Therapeutic engagement and activity is very important in assisting our patients towards their recovery and promotes the therapeutic relationship between the staff and patients. Therefore a candidate that has enthusiasm in ensuring our patients have a diverse range of activity and facilitating this is will be our ideal candidate.
