Calex sensors are supplied via a worldwide distributor network for use in manufacturing, monitoring and laboratory applications, and are relied upon in the production processes of many of the largest industrial companies in the world.
Principal duties
• Create marketing documents including datasheets, instruction manuals, technical papers, newsletters, and competitor comparisons
• Build a close relationship with the worldwide distributor network and communicate with them effectively to increase export sales
• Assist with website development, publicity, advertising and social media marketing
• Identify growth opportunities within market segments and applications
• Collaborate with the R&D department to identify new product development opportunities and prepare Product Requirement Specifications
• Assist with technical and commercial enquiries, quotations, sales administration and other company duties as required
Skills required
• Excellent English language skills - both written and spoken
• A degree in Instrumentation, Engineering or Physics
• Flexibility, enthusiasm and self-motivation
• Confidence when dealing with customers and fellow employees
• Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise workload
• Experience in sales or marketing in a manufacturing company would be an advantage
Future Prospects
For the right candidate, following the 6-month probationary period, there will be the opportunity to travel nationally and internationally to meet new customers and to help train distributors.
