What skills and experience we're looking for
The role will involve supporting individuals in both EYFS and lower Key Stage 2 with social, communication and learning needs, individually and as part of small groups. In addition, it will involve providing general support as directed by the class teacher. Previous experience is desirable but not essential for the right person.
Suitable applicants will be good communicators and have patience and understanding. The applicant will show initiative and flexibility under the guidance of the class teachers and SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and be able to maintain a positive attitude. Applicants will understand the professional nature of the role. Ideally, the successful candidate will have GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
