Applications are invited from suitably qualified graduates for the above position, which is based in Barrhead. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a creative and highly motivated team of Educational Psychologists (EPs) working within a dynamic and inclusive authority. The Educational Psychology Assistant will work within the Educational Psychology Service (EPS) team to support its priorities within the Education Department and wider Council. Key tasks will include supporting the EPS to continue to develop and evaluate its model of service delivery and approaches to self-evaluation as well as contribute to the maintenance and further development of the Healthier Minds framework and website (https://blogs.glowscotland.org.uk/er/healthierminds/). There will also be opportunities to contribute to the ongoing development of the Learn Well and Early Years Outreach services.
This post is an ideal opportunity for individuals who wish to pursue a career in Educational Psychology.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children.
