We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Room Leader to join a nurturing and vibrant nursery setting that feels like a home away from home. Supporting children aged 0–5, our nursery offers spacious, age-specific rooms and a large garden designed for exploration and play-based learning.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
- Proven experience in early years education, with leadership potential or previous supervisory experience
- A caring, proactive, and team-oriented approach

About the Role
- Assisting in the day-to-day management of the room and staff team
- Acting as a Key Person, building strong bonds with children and families
- Supporting planning and delivery of engaging, EYFS-aligned activities
- Leading in the absence of the Room Leader, ensuring smooth operations
- Monitoring children’s development through observations and assessments
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Upholding safeguarding and health & safety standards
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
