At Holy Trinity CE Primary School, we believe every child should have the opportunity to become the best they can be.
We are proud to be a nurturing school and are committed to creating a supportive, caring environment for both children and staff.
Our school community is guided by the Six Principles of Nurture, which underpin our relationships, routines, and approach to learning and wellbeing.
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Assistant to join our team and help make lunchtimes a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive part of the school day.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support children’s social development and wellbeing during one of the most important times of their day.
As a key member of our midday team, you’ll work closely with staff and pupils to help create a positive and calm lunchtime experience for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising children during lunchtime, both in the dining hall and playground
- Encouraging positive play and social interaction
- Promoting good table manners and healthy eating habits
- Assisting with basic cleaning and tidying of the lunch area
- Supporting pupils with a kind and nurturing approach
- Ensuring the safety, welfare, and behaviour of pupils in line with school policies
What We’re Looking For:
- A kind and patient individual who enjoys working with children
- A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Someone who can remain calm, proactive, and positive in a busy environment
- Experience working with children is desirable but not essential – training will be provided
- A commitment to supporting the school’s nurturing ethos
At Holy Trinity, we value the wellbeing of our staff just as much as our pupils. As part of our commitment to supporting you, we offer:
- A generous Local Government Pension Scheme
- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme, offering confidential support and resources for personal or professional matters
- A welcoming, nurturing school environment
- Supportive team culture
- Enhanced DBS check arranged and paid for by the school
If you are passionate about supporting children and want to be part of a kind, nurturing school community, we’d love to hear from you!
