In this role, you’ll be supporting residents with their daily needs, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Every day you’ll be making a real difference, ensuring the home feels like a community where residents can live with dignity and joy.
- Provide warm, person-centred care for our residents
- Support with washing, dressing, mealtimes, and mobility
- Offer companionship and encourage residents to join activities and social events
- Help create a safe, clean, and homely environment
- Work closely with your colleagues to ensure residents’ well-being is always the top priority
- Experience working as a carer with older people
- A kind, patient, and understanding nature
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Excellent work ethic
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working in a care home environment
- due to location of the home a driving licence is desirable
- £12.71 per hour full time or £14.10 per hour for Bank
- A warm and supportive care home team
- Paid induction and ongoing training
