Permanent (part time)
Salary: Grade 1, Point 2 £3,486 per annum (pro-rated to hours and weeks worked)
Monday to Friday, 11.55am - 1.10pm, (6.25 hours per week, term time only, 38 weeks)
Start date: Negotiable
We are looking to appoint additional Lunchtime Supervisor’s to join our current team, starting as soon as available. We are looking for someone who has experience of working with children. A person who enjoys children’s company and is able to form positive relationships but maintains good discipline. The post involves caring for our children during the lunch time and becoming part of our strong team of dedicated lunchtime supervisors.
Duties and responsibilities of the role will include: -
• Looking after a specific group of children and an area of the dining hall/playground each day (although this group/area will vary)
• Escorting children to and from the dining room
• Supervising children inside and outside during the lunchtime
• Monitoring pupil behaviour, intervening as necessary in accordance with school policies including behaviour, safeguarding, health and safety and first aid
• Creating play opportunities for children.

Has experience of working with children across the primary age range
Has the ability to relate well to children and adults
Is a team player with a good sense of humour and a positive attitude
Is energetic, caring and flexible
