We are a small, friendly school looking for a Caretaker to join our team. We are looking for someone seeking a part time role - 20 hours per week – 7.30am to 11.30am with flexibility during school holidays.
No specific experience required as training will be provided, but a willingness to contribute to all areas of busy school life is a must. The role would equally suit someone looking for a part time role in a step towards retirement or someone looking to gain experience of premises management..Key accountabilities:
Oversee schedules and routine maintenance liaising with contractors and suppliers as necessary.
Undertake regular health and safety checks of buildings, grounds, fixtures and fittings in accordance with schedules and keep records of checks.
Undertake regular maintenance of the grounds and building surrounds, including removal of leaves and debris and during icy conditions treated accordingly to ensure the safety of staff and pupils.
