Hays Education is recruiting for a wide range of Primary Teaching Assistant jobs and SEN Teaching Assistant jobs across Leicestershire. We offer flexible supply work, long-term placements, and full-time or part-time job options to suit your lifestyle and career goals.
Your new role
We are hiring for both general classroom support roles and specialist SEN support jobs. Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting teachers during core subjects like Maths and English
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils
- Assisting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as autism, ADHD, or SEMH
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Helping with classroom organisation and learning displays
What you'll need to succeed
We welcome applications from individuals with experience in:
- Social care or youth support jobs
- Residential care jobs
- Nurseries or early years jobs
- Volunteering or mentoring jobs with children or young people
You don't need to be a qualified Teaching Assistant - if you're patient, caring, and confident working with children, we'll help you find the right job for the new academic year.
