We have an opportunity for YOU to join a rewarding and enjoyable position working for Barts Health; the largest Trust in England - specifically at the St Bartholomew’s site. The role will involve working closely with other service pathways within St Bartholomew’s site and across all other sites to deliver a consistent, high level of service.
Alongside your Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality physiotherapy service within Barts Heart Centre.
Cardiovascular pathways include:
- Level 2 and 3 Critical Care Units
- Cardiology including the busiest heart attack centre in Europe and a commissioned VV-ECMO service
- Cardiothoracics which has a complex aorto-vascular pathway and congenital heart service
Thoracic surgery including robotic surgery and ERAS pathways
We are looking for a minimum of 5 years acute care experience working within the NHS and ideally experience with cardiothoracic and/or critically ill patients. Individuals should have strong clinical skills and display a strong commitment to patient centred, evidence-based care.

You will be a motivated team player and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with empathy and compassion at the heart of the care that you provide.There is an established clinical supervision and CPD programme with opportunities for personal development and involvement with development of junior staff and students. We have an excellent in-service training programme and all staff are encouraged to undertake advanced education and external courses.
