Job Title: National Grid Site Supervisor
Job Type: temp long term contract CIS Paid
Location: Kings Lynn
Salary: £300 - £350 per day
Company & Project: Our client, a large and well-established civil engineering company, are looking for an experienced Foreman / Supervisor to oversee a civils project in the Kings Lynn area. They mostly work in the energy industry so experience within this field would be an advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
• Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
• Coordinating and supervising construction workers
• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
• Knowledge of construction of associated water, waste water treatment and general utility infrastructure works
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
• Maintaining quality control procedures
• Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork
• Understand the tender allowances and monitor contract costs against agreed budgets – company financial reporting.
Desirable Experience & Skills:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a site agent on civils projects
• CSCS card - Gold or Black
• 1st Aid
• SMSTS/SSSTS
• NG Persons
