We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaner to join our team at the FireFit Youth & Community Hub in Liverpool. This is a
part-time role of 8 hours per week, working Monday 8am–12pm and Friday 8am–12pm. You will be responsible for ensuring the hub is
kept safe, clean, and welcoming for all staff, members, and visitors. You will carry out a variety of cleaning, caretaking, and
basic facilities maintenance duties, always working in line with health and safety regulations.
What you'll be doing:
* Carry out all types of general cleaning and facilities maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, vacuuming, and
washing as required.
* Plan and organise your work effectively, making the best use of time and cleaning materials.
* Report defects, faults, or concerns promptly in line with procedures.
* Complete scheduled maintenance duties such as fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, and legionella testing.
* Maintain accurate records relating to cleaning standards, stock levels, and equipment checks.
* Ensure cleaning products and equipment are used and stored in line with COSHH requirements.
* Provide excellent customer service, responding in a professional and welcoming manner to all enquiries.
* Contribute to safeguarding by promoting the safety and wellbeing of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
What we're looking for:
* Extensive experience in day-to-day cleaning
* Understands health & safety legislation and COSHH regulations
* Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Has good communication skills and a positive, professional approach.
* Is flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of the hub.
Interview Process:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a face-to-face interview at the FireFit Hub.

Each successful applicant will be required to complete the following pre-employment checks before a start date is agreed:

* Qualification certificate check
* 2x completed references
* Occupational Health Questionnaire – Fit For Work
