Cygnet Long Eaton Day Servicesspecialises in supporting individuals with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, in addition to those with complex health needs, physical disabilities and those with autism. We have a long history of enhancing the quality of life of the individuals who attend the service. We are looking for aBank Driverwho is able to drive our 7 seater mini bus working on a casual/ flexible basis. You will be offered shifts on an ad-hoc basis as and when required to cover 3 hours in the morning and/or 3 hours in the evening across a 7 day rota. Please note: For Insurance purposes, applicants must be 21 years of age or over and have held a full UK driving license for at least 2 years. You will also be responsible for ensuring the company vehicle used is refuelled and to check the vehicle before going out and after return, keeping it clean inside and out and reporting any faults/damage. The post holder will need to demonstrate each of the following: Hold a valid full UK driving license with no more than 3 points Knowledge of the local area Able to navigate around an area using Sat Nav or maps Able to plan and keep to a schedule Willing to work unsupervised Good customer service skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Excellent organization skills Each casual / bank shift constitutes a separate engagement and shall be deemed to be unconnected. Between periods of work there are no subsisting obligations on either party. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
