I am looking for a personal assistant to support me with getting out and about, help with shopping and someone to do arts and crafts with.
I am a lady in my early 20’s and am on the autistic spectrum and suffer from severe OCD and anorexia.
This will be a rewarding role for the right person.
Duties include:
- Transportation
- Companionship
Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Creative
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Must be comfortable with pets
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
- Knowledge of mental health – ideally OCD and Anorexia
- Youthful outlook.
- All activities to be done outside of home, no entry into my flat or my car
- Being able to respect my restrictions due to my mental health especially my OCD
- Interested in arts and crafts
- Easy to speak to and engage with
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
Notes:
All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.

The role may be offered on an employed or self-employed basis, depending on the suitability and agreement with the employer.
