We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Admin Assistant (Child Protection) at Grade 4 to support our team in delivering effective child protection services. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our administrative functions run smoothly, allowing our staff to focus on their primary responsibilities in safeguarding and protecting children. You will be coordinating various administrative tasks, managing correspondence, and maintaining essential documentation related to child protection cases. As a member of our team, you will also assist in preparing reports and presentations, scheduling meetings, and liaising with other departments and external organizations. Your organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks will be essential in ensuring that we meet our objectives and adhere to compliance standards. Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Child Protection team, ensuring effective office operations.
Maintain accurate and organized files and records related to child protection cases.
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and events for the team and manage calendars effectively.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
Handle inquiries and correspondence related to child protection, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Manage office supplies and resources, ensuring the Child Protection team has what they need to operate efficiently.
Support the team in the implementation of child protection policies and procedures by ensuring compliance with documentation and reporting standards.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework in administration is a plus.
Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a social services or child protection environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic office equipment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage positively with various stakeholders.
Understanding of child protection principles and a commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 08:30
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £12.21
