Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will play a key role in achieving shift and site KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) by working with your team and other departments. Developing a culture of continuous improvement by using Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
You will lead and manage the production area in successfully meeting OEE (Operational Equipment Effectiveness), quality, people and plan attainment by;
• Co-ordinating team activities through set-ups and changeovers
• Share and communicate shift information, including departmental huddles and in meetings
• Guide your team in all aspects of the work, providing training and assistance where necessary
• Foster an atmosphere of safety, collaboration, discipline and respect
• Develop and ensure compliance to SOP’s for process related tasks
Knowledge Skills & Experience:
• Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and lean tools
• Previous experience of leading a team
• Numerical ability to record, analyse and interpret data
• Ability to inspire motivate and coach others
• Ability to work towards Food Safety Level 3 and IOSH
