Job description:

Driven by continued growth in the industry, Lincoln Security are seeking an exceptional engineer with a proven record of installing, servicing and maintaining electronic security and fire systems in both domestic and commercial settings. You will handle installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of market-leading technologies, delivering work of the highest standard every time.

Key Responsibilities

Install, service and maintain CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms and access control systems to the highest standard
Diagnose and resolve faults swiftly and effectively
Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance with meticulous attention to detail
Ensure full compliance with industry standards and all health and safety requirements
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues at every stage
Participate in the out-of-hours rota when required
Mandatory Requirements

Minimum of three years’ proven experience installing, servicing and maintaining intruder alarm, CCTV, and fire alarm systems in both domestic and commercial environments
Expert in intruder alarm systems with a clear understanding of Grade 2 and Grade 3 requirements and monitored systems through an ARC
Good knowledge and understanding of Intruder alarms standards & codes of practice BS EN 50131 & PD6662.
Competent in CCTV installation and maintenance, with solid understanding of both analogue and IP networked systems
Good knowledge & understanding of relevant CCTV/VSS codes of practice.
Skilled in fire alarm installation and maintenance in non-domestic premises, with sound knowledge of both conventional and addressable systems and full understanding of BS 5839-1
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability across all fire, intruder, and CCTV.
Confident working at height and experienced in safe practices
Full, clean UK driving licence with no endorsements
Strong work ethic, reliability and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work independently while communicating effectively and supporting the wider team
Preferred Qualifications and Skills (not essential)

Strong working knowledge of leading brands like Pyronix, Galaxy, Hikvision, Concept Pro, Advanced, and Kentec fire panels.
Recognised Level 3 or above qualifications in intruder, CCTV or fire alarm systems
Up-to-date CPD training in the above disciplines
PASMA card
IPAF card for 1b, 3b and 3a MEWPs
Working at height training
Asbestos awareness training
Current DBS check
CSCS or ECS card
First aid training
