We are seeking a Team Manager for the Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children's team in the Through Care service on a 12-month fixed-term basis. You will lead a dedicated team of Social Workers and Personal Advisers providing high-quality services to unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and young people.
All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
You will have experience in leadership and be trauma-informed and culturally competent. You will be a confident and compassionate leader, ideally with experience of working with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children or children in care.
Within our team at Through Care, people from minority ethnic backgrounds are currently under-represented across our middle-management team; as a result, we would like to encourage both men and people from minority ethnic backgrounds to apply for this post.
