NETCONNECT SOLUTIONS is seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our
growing IT team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is
passionate about maintaining robust and secure IT infrastructure.
About the Role:
As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and
security of our IT systems. You?ll support users, manage servers and networks, and ensure our
systems run smoothly and securely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems.
- Monitor system performance and resolve hardware/software issues.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Office 365, and other core services.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols (firewalls, antivirus, etc.).
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Provide technical support and training to staff.
- Maintain documentation for systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
What We?re Looking For:
Experience & Skills:
- 3+ years in system/network administration or IT operations.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and virtualization.
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) are a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Education & Certifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Certifications such as MCSA, CompTIA Server+, or VMware VCP preferred.
