Live Events–Staging Operative
Must come from an Events, Staging background as you will be playing a vital role in delivery of all equipment for live events across the UK
We’re looking for

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare orders accurately according to job sheets and schedules –
• Working closely with internal and external drivers and the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch and return of all equipment.
• Stock control using both bar-code scanner software and manual counting to accurately check equipment in and out of the yard.
• Identify any shortages/damages of equipment and promptly notify management.
• Inspect and maintain all staging equipment including the repair, cleaning and repainting of stage decks to ensure equipment is of the highest standard for our clients.
• Load and unload trucks and vehicles in a safe, secure, efficient and accurate manner.
• Ensure all equipment is clean serviceable and safely stored in the staging warehouse.
• Organise and maintain the staging warehouse- Cleaning, Tidying and organising workspaces to keep all work areas clean, organised, and safe.
• Occasionally assist with onsite event rigs / de rigs (optional depending on experience)
Essential Requirements:
• You must have a polite, courteous and friendly disposition often being the first person our customers will meet.
• You must be physically fit. This is a physical role which requires lots of manual handing. Bending, lifting, pulling and pushing will be required daily. A strong awareness of health and safety and manual handling best practices.
• Experience with scaffolding, staging and live events equipment is desirable.
• A general knowledge of basic DIY.
• Methodical and detail-oriented approach to handling a wide range of technical equipment.
• You must be able to work as part of a team and alone with good communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
• A strong work ethic- self-motivated with the ability to use initiative.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines and see a task through to completion.
From £12.60 per hour depending on experience
Flexibility with shifts is essential -early starts, late finishes and some weekend work may be required, 42.5 hours per week
