Competitive Earnings + Van + Phone + Laptop + Benefits

We are a leading supplier of specialist technology and equipment for road construction, maintenance, and mineral processing machinery. From our UK headquarters, we support customers nationwide with innovative products, first-class sales, and comprehensive aftercare.

Due to continued growth in the UK, we are seeking a number of experienced Field Service Engineers with strong knowledge of plant equipment repair to deliver industry-leading planned and reactive maintenance services for an internationally renowned equipment manufacturer.

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll often be the face of the business — providing trusted, efficient support to customers on-site. This role requires a hands-on professional with proven experience in mobile plant equipment, alongside a proactive and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities:

• Attend customer sites to carry out scheduled servicing and repair work on equipment.
• Work closely with the coordination team to ensure effective planning and delivery of the service schedule.
• Represent the business professionally at all times, building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures.
• Complete all paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
• Diagnose faults and carry out testing as required.
• Maintain van stock levels and take care of company-issued tools, equipment, and PPE.
• Deliver machine commissioning, demonstrations, and operator familiarisation when required.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in repairing and servicing plant equipment, ideally large mobile plant on customer sites.
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering / Plant Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Eagerness to learn new skills and develop technical knowledge.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, including overnight stays.
• A positive, “can-do” attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Ability to read parts, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot systems effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Full UK driving licence with a good driving record.

What’s on Offer:

In return for your skills and commitment, you’ll receive a highly competitive remuneration package, along with opportunities for career progression as part of the business’s continued expansion in the UK market.
