Joining our Business Development Team, as a Business Support Officer, you’ll conduct research and present data, reports, and insights to management in support of service-related digital and HR projects. The information you provide will help inform the analysis of services for Older Adults and Younger Adults within HCC Care and Support Services.
What you'll do:
• Undertaking research on subjects relating to the services we offer across Hampshire
• Conduct research on subjects related to the services we offer across Hampshire, including market trends, staffing, and other relevant matters.
• Provide information: Deliver data and insights to support service-related projects and decision-making.
• Keeping key documents and reports updated and functioning, such as staffing levels and hours, staff agency usage, bed capacity, short term service, long stay service,
• Maintain records: Keep key documents and reports up to date.
• Support analysis: Analyse key data across Older Adults and Younger Adults services to inform service improvements.
• Adapt: Deliver high-quality work within deadlines, responding flexibly and swiftly to the demands of a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the systems support team and colleagues, sharing information effectively with different audiences.
What we're looking for:
• Organised, adaptable, and flexible in responding to changing needs.
• Experience in projects and change management.
• Proficient in Excel, including the use of pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools, and PowerBI to create dashboards for reporting and analysis.
• Ability to prioritise work and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled at tailoring communication to suit different audiences and needs.
• Resilience and confidence when managing competing demands.
