We’re seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Officer to join our award-winning Marketing & Communications Team at York College & University Centre.In this exciting role, you’ll help drive student recruitment and engagement by delivering integrated campaigns across digital, print and out-of-home channels. You’ll create engaging content for social media, the website and e-communications and contribute to the planning, coordination and execution of recruitment events. Many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways, including working from home. We are open to discussing other possibilities for flexible working and encourage you to talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need. We can’t promise to give you exactly what you want, but we will explore what’s possible for the role.The role is full-time (37 hours per week), typically worked Monday to Friday. However, candidates must be flexible, as occasional support will be required outside of standard office hours for events such as open evenings, careers fairs, and celebration events. Time off in lieu will be provided.About the PersonWe’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and creative marketer who is full of ideas and eager to share them. With experience in multi-channel campaigns, you’ll bring strong copywriting skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.You’ll be confident updating websites, creating engaging social media content and collaborating with colleagues internally and external partners. Most importantly, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, supportive and ambitious team, contributing your creativity to the success of our award-winning department.About the CollegeWe are a large, regional college serving a population across York and North Yorkshire of more one million people. Each year, we have approximately 4,000 school leavers, 1,000 apprentices, 2,000 adult students, and 400 higher-level students studying with us.
