We’re looking for a passionate and driven Operational Development & Improvement Coordinator to help us shape and enhance the learner journey across our organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and influence the systems and processes that support the operational development.

Role: Operational Development & Improvement Coordinator

Location: Mobile throughout Scotland - this is a fully remote role

Hours of Work: Full-time (35 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

Grade: SC2

Target Salary: £42,642 per annum

Additional Benefits: Mobile Working Allowance £580, Car Allowance £6,452

Special Requirements: As this is a mobile role, candidates must have a driving licence that enables them to drive in the UK. The post holder will be eligible for either a company car or a car allowance, subject to the vehicle nominated for business use complying with CITB’s Car Policy.

About the Role

This is a pivotal role focused on the continuous development and improvement of our end-to-end learner journey. You’ll lead the design, implementation, and delivery of a comprehensive programme of learning and development for operational colleagues, ensuring our policies, procedures, and practices are fully embedded and consistently applied.

You’ll work collaboratively across teams to identify areas for improvement, introduce new processes, and ensure our operational delivery meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Own and enhance the end-to-end learner journey, ensuring processes and practices are fit for purpose and learner-focused.
Develop and maintain the Operations Manual, ensuring it reflects current policies and procedures.
Design and deliver training programmes that support operational colleagues in understanding and applying key processes.
Collaborate with senior managers to improve and document operational workflows ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Develop and maintain operational Sharepoint areas
Providing coaching and training to operations teams, both face to face and online
Your Experience:

Experience in apprenticeship delivery, with a clear understanding of learner needs, processes and compliance requirements.
Ability to identify areas for development through keen observation and data analysis.
Leading and developing strategy within an operational environment.
Technical understanding and previous experience of Office 365 and SharePoint
Proven experience in designing and delivering training to a range of key stakeholders.
Coaching and motivating teams, with a focus on identifying and supporting individual development
