Description
We are recruiting a support worker to assist one of our clients with Acquired Brian Injury.
Are you who we are looking for?
You will be required to work with our 68 year old client with Acquired Brain Injury. He requires support to keep him focussed on daily living tasks. He previously enjoyed the outdoors and was very active. This post would suit an active lover of the outdoors. You will assist our client to access the community, engage in activities of interest to him and be an integral part of his rehabilitation. Someone who is passionate about rehabilitation and reaching goals would be ideal for this role.
The salary for this role is from £14.00ph depending on experience.
Key skills, knowledge and experience
• Previous experience of guiding individuals with sight loss is preferable but not essential as training will be given.
• Valid UK driving licence and having car is essential.
• You should be trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or have equivalent experience e.g., completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course).
• This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check
