The Engineering Team Leader will keep the site plant running smoothly, undertake preventative maintenance, and ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
The key focus of the Engineering Team Leader will be:
• Organise and conduct PPM’s of the plant as per the OEM’s Specifications and ensure they are recorded successfully into a CMMS.
• React to breakdowns in an efficient and timely manner.
• Manage their respective teams technical compliance.
• Monitor performance and engagement of support staff.
• Manage, enforce and adhere to H&S compliance across their team.
• Provide support to operators as and when needed.
• Undertake plant repairs in a timely manner to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Monitor performance of the cleaning team.
• Mentor junior members of the team to ensure training and compliance goals are met within the team.
• Contribute, manage and drive in Continuous improvement mentalities into the team.
• Conduct team 1-2-1’s and manage performance of their team.
