VAN DRIVER (Temp → Perm - Immediate Start)
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Specialist Manufacturer of Insulated Cavity Closers & Window Formers
We are seeking an experienced Van Driver to join our client on a 12‑week temp to perm contract, with an immediate start.
Information about the Van Driver role:
- Monday to Friday (no weekends)
- Start times between 07:30‑08:00 each morning
- Up to 4 drops per day
- Travel anywhere in the UK may be required
Whats involved:
- Drive a pre‑loaded van and assist with unloading upon arrival
- Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after use
- Ensure goods are handled and delivered safely
- Complete all required delivery paperwork accurately
- Adhere to assigned schedule and follow all job directives precisely
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
Requirements of the Van Driver:
- Valid UK driving licence
- Previous van driving experience
- Ability to handball (loading/unloading goods)
- Good road knowledge and ability to plan efficient routes
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow directions and schedules strictly
