Are you a detail-driven compliance professional with strong organisational skills and a passion for health, safety, and operational excellence? We are looking for a proactive Compliance Manager to oversee and maintain legal, safety, and industry compliance across our projects, vehicles, sites, and internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Vehicle Compliance & Safety:
Oversee monthly vehicle inspections, service tracking, and ensure all documentation (MOTs, insurance, service logs) is up to date. Maintain vehicle safety equipment and first aid kits.
• Office & Fire Safety Compliance:
Conduct weekly fire alarm tests, fire drills, and regular equipment checks. Maintain all safety records, logbooks, and fire marshal training compliance.
• Health & Safety Management:
Manage inspections of tools, ladders, and equipment. Maintain safety certifications and implement PPM schedules for site equipment and HVAC systems.
• Site Access & Permits:
Coordinate site access permits via portals like C-Tracker and Vicinitee. Prepare RAMS, shift plans, and ensure complete and accurate site folders are issued and filed.
• Certifications & Training:
Maintain accreditations (e.g., Safe Contractor, Constructionline) and ensure all staff training is up to date. Work with HR and training providers to book and track renewals.
• RAMS & Documentation:
Create and distribute RAMS in collaboration with site managers. Track signatures and store signed copies digitally under job folders.
• Communication & Coordination:
Liaise with internal departments (Projects, Operations, Accounts) and subcontractors to ensure compliance across reporting, invoicing, and audits.
• Project Tracking:
Maintain Trello boards for project updates, job numbers, service reports, and progress tracking. Ensure all data is accurate and timely.
• Policy & Legal Compliance:
Monitor changes in legislation and update internal policies accordingly. Conduct internal audits, support external audits, and investigate incidents as required.
• Document Control:
Manage the central compliance filing system, ensuring all risk assessments, inspections, and training records are accurate and securely stored.
• Client & Stakeholder Support:
Represent the company in client and subcontractor meetings on all compliance-related matters.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a compliance, HSEQ, or site management role
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, vehicle compliance, and ISO standards
• Excellent organisational, communication, and documentation skills
• Experience with systems like Trello, Citation, and digital filing platforms (e.g., OneDrive)
• Ability to lead audits, manage training matrices, and coordinate multi-site compliance
