Role Description
As a Business Development Executive, you will drive achievement of sales and revenue targets. This will involve understanding the customer’s Cybersecurity and IT operations needs, and subsequently proving Positka’s ability to deliver business value through leading edge solutions. You will work with a range of OEM IT solutions such as Cisco Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Microsoft.
Specifically, your responsibilities would include (but are not limited to):
- Proactively engage new prospects through outreach, networking, and events, with a focus on building meaningful first conversations every week.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and help drive value to their business.
- Build an effective opportunity pipeline and achieve sales closure.
- Work collaboratively with marketing to design and execute UK campaigns.
- Track invoicing and drive collection of sales proceeds.

Support Provided
- Training on Positka’s market leading Cybersecurity and Information Technology solutions will be provided
- Pre-sales and solution development team will provide proactive support with sales material, solution demonstrations and proof-of-concept, where needed.
- Solution leaders will coach and join meetings with customers to help progress sales discussions and closure.

Experience and skills required
- Some experience in B2B technology sales, ideally with enterprise customers. Exposure to cybersecurity solutions is a bonus, but full training provided.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in problem solving discussions.
- Ability to understand, assimilate, articulate and demonstrate technical solution.
- Exposure to Cybersecurity platforms would be an advantage.

- Positka is a growth-oriented organisation with a focus on the career growth of all team members. The next evolution from this role is towards Account Executive, and then on to Regional Sales Manager.

Location (Hybrid, minimum 2 days a week in Central London office)
- Based in London or the surrounding areas.
- Ability and willingness to travel for meetings will be essential.
