A welcoming SEN school in Welwyn Garden City, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is seeking a motivated Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering careers in education, psychology, therapy, or youth support.
The Role – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
• Support pupils aged 6–16 with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), and Moderate Learning Difficulties
• Deliver 1:1 and small group support, both academic and emotional
• Help to boost confidence, encourage independence, and foster participation
• Work closely with teachers to maintain an inclusive, engaging classroom environment

About You - Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
• A 2:2 degree or higher (Psychology, Education, or related fields advantageous)
• Calm, adaptable, and resilient when faced with challenges
• Excellent teamwork, empathy, and communication skills
• Experience with SEN, mentoring, or youth work desirable but not essential
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
