We are currently looking to recruit experienced care assistants to work in a 20-bed residential home with in Mansfield,
Nottinghamshire caring for residents detained under the mental health act, those with Physical Disabilities, Challenging Behaviours and Learning Dificulties.
The role will mainly involve Care and Support work and personal care for service users when required, assisting residents in their daily activities, throughout the shift and carrying out other general duties.
You will use your knowledge and experience to assist the residents with their activities of daily living providing a care centred approach round their detailed care package.
Our Care assistants are required to have sound experience in Health and Social Care.
As of all aspects of Care you will be expected to attend to general housekeeping duties and personal care, you will also be required to complete paperwork accurately and in detail and report accordingly.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
To apply for this role you must;
- Have referenceable work history
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)*
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service*
- Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting.
This role offers ongoing hours
You will be working from 08:00 to 20:00 on various days throughout the week
You will be paid £12.50 per hour
