Further details about the role
We are looking to recruit a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start in Term 2. The role is fixed term and will support a child both academically and emotionally.
We place a high value on children’s emotional well-being and we are looking for people who share our vision that children need to be emotionally happy to be able to achieve highly. We work therapeutically with our children in enabling them to achieve this.
The successful candidate will be working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 15 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant with an additional 5 hours per week as a Midday Supervisory Assistant, both paid at Grade D5 (£13.47 per hour). Working hours will likely be 8.40am to 1.00pm which includes a 20 minute unpaid break.
This is a fixed term contract until 31 August 2026 based at Fitzmaurice Primary School working Monday to Friday.
