Early Years Officer

Glenburn ELC Centre Post ID CS6732

An opportunity has arisen for two temporary Early Years Officers to join the large team at Glenburn ELC Centre.

You will have skills, knowledge and experience of all current Early Learning and Childcare provision and procedures and have a passion for promoting and delivering high quality play and learning both indoors and outdoors.

You will work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with children and families. You will have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures.

With experience of working with children, you will have an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. You must be registered with or currently seeking registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

The post is Full Time, Term Time and is temporary until 26th June 2026.

The ELC Centre is open from 8am to 6pm and you should be prepared to work a shift pattern between these hours.

Please note the salary in the advert will be adjusted accordingly for part time and term time contract.

The post is part time (14.8 hours working Thursday and Friday Friday), term time and permanent within Falkirk Council Education Services.
