Class 2 HGV Driver - £14.00 per hour - Nelson (Ad-hoc Work)

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to provide ad-hoc holiday and sickness cover for our client in Nelson. This role involves curtain side vehicles with tail lift multi-drop deliveries and is ideal for drivers looking for flexible, non-permanent shifts.

Location: Nelson
Working Hours: Ad-hoc daytime shifts (start times may vary)
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Type of Work: Curtain side, tail lift, multi-drop deliveries

The Role

  • Driving Class 2 curtain side vehicles with tail lift

  • Completing multi-drop deliveries to local and regional customers

  • Securing loads safely and ensuring timely deliveries

  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing paperwork accurately

Requirements

  • Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence

  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

  • Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience

  • Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice

  • Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach

What We Offer
