Summary


Join the Redevelopment Team as Assistant Project Director, supporting the Redevelopment Capital Delivery Director in delivering one of the most ambitious healthcare infrastructure programmes in the country. This is a pivotal role in turning the Trust’s long-term clinical and organisational objectives into high-quality, future-ready facilities.

This role requires a solid background in project management and capital planning, with proven ability to balance technical precision and strategic thinking. By supporting the Redevelopment Capital Delivery Director, you will play a vital role in shaping state-of-the-art healthcare facilities that drive innovation, clinical excellence, and improved patient care.
• Support the Redevelopment Capital Delivery Director in leading capital planning and programme delivery.
• Assist with procurement and contract management, ensuring projects meet cost, quality, and time objectives.
• Work alongside professional teams to ensure technical assurance, town planning, and business case preparation.
• Coordinate effectively with clinical, estates, and infection prevention teams to ensure facilities meet operational, research, and educational needs.
• Help ensure compliance with national priorities, including the New Hospitals Programme, net zero carbon commitments, and Hospital 2.0 guidelines.
• Build strong relationships across the Trust and with external partners to manage interdependencies and deliver redevelopment goals.
