Summary

Your new company
As the electrical subject-matter expert, you'll lead on the design and project management of both planned and reactive maintenance programmes, as well as capital works up to £1 million. You'll play a key role in shaping the estate's infrastructure, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions.


Your new role

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical maintenance and construction projects.
  • Conduct condition surveys and diagnose electrical issues across the estate.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Manage contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
  • Monitor budgets and performance metrics, ensuring value for money and environmental sustainability.
  • Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation and statutory testing requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree or HNC/NVQ Level 4 in a relevant building services or electrical discipline.
  • Ideally full membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., CIBSE, IWFM, RICS, CIAT, CIOB, RIBA).
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in property maintenance or facilities management.
  • Strong project management skills with experience delivering schemes from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to produce and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
