About Us:
Based in Rackheath near Norwich, the Seaglaze Group are a family-owned company that has been established for half a century. We employ over 70 staff across our 2 factories, manufacturing high quality, bespoke products ranging from specialised glass to products for the boat building industry.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Office Supervisor to lead our Customer Administration team. In this role, you will inspire and guide your team to deliver exceptional customer service while overseeing daily operations. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative environment and driving a results-driven approach to meet sales targets. Ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service is paramount, and as a primary point of contact for customers, confident communication skills and a professional demeanour are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all customer enquiries, ensuring they are handled professionally, promptly, and courteously.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently delivered, actively resolving any issues that arise.
- Maintain and manage customer accounts to foster strong relationships and retention.
- Allocate workloads within the customer division to maintain an even balance among team members.
- Maintain and monitor pre-production administration for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Supervise marketing and administration for trade shows, ensuring deadlines are met and responsibilities are appropriately delegated.
- Conduct weekly team meetings to review progress and identify potential challenges with current and upcoming workloads.
- Evaluate training needs and deliver training to ensure the team is equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure effective communication between the Customer Division and Shopfloor, as well as the SMW Production Manager, to address production priorities and administrative matters.
- Assess and recommend procedural changes to improve efficiency within the customer division.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of administrative or sales experience, ideally within a customer-focused environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed correctly the first time.
- Proficient in IT skills with the ability to adapt to our bespoke IT system across all business operations.
- Basic math skills for understanding dimensions, measurements, and 2D drawings.
- Ability to manage your workload and that of others efficiently.
- A results-driven mindset with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Glass experience desirable but not essential.
