An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive practice in Barnsley, currently transforming into a 24/7 hospital. This night time role is part of a dynamic A+E service, where you will work closely with a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse to manage a diverse and challenging caseload of surgical and medical emergency and critical care cases, while overseeing inpatients.
This is a practice where the primary focus is on delivering high quality care and making a difference, rather than solely maximising profits. You will be supported by a collaborative network across three other hospitals, ensuring that you are never alone and always have access to professional guidance and advice.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about emergency care, motivated to grow their technical skills, and thrive in a fast paced environment. You’ll be part of a friendly, multi-talented team that values empathy, teamwork, and making a tangible difference to the pets and owners in your care.
This role offers the chance to work in a socially minded, mission driven practice, with a varied caseload and opportunities for professional development, all while making a real impact on both patients and the wider veterinary team!
