Join Our Supply Chain Team at The Compleat Food Group!
We’re excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a Cold Store Operations Manager to join our dedicated and professional Supply
Chain team in York!
The purpose of this role is to support efficient day shift cold store operations by effectively managing labour, goods in and out
and overall performance. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth workflow and ensuring all tasks are completed safely and
on schedule.

Role Details:
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, start and finish times TBC, 45 hrs per week.
Role Type: 4 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Boroughbridge
Salary: £43,000 - £48,000 per annum depending on experience
Your Duties Will Include:
* Overall accountability for the Compleat date-coding operation within the Reed Boardall warehouse.
* Management of approx. 12 – 14 operatives across 2 x date-coding lines.
* Ensure safety of the Compleat team within the RB working environment.
* Labour planning versus production demand.
* Organise agency labour requirements as required.
* Ensure team are compliant with Technical standards, as specified in the Line Leader responsibilities, with documented evidence.
* Reconcile stock in versus stock out, capturing waste & root cause.
* Monitor production run rates & attainment to plan. React in real-time if behind plan, and identify improvement opportunities
for the remainder of the season.
* Liaise with Reed Boardall management team regularly to ensure a consistent service of stock in & out of the area.
* Maintain a solid understanding of the RB teams hour-by-hour position in terms of case-picking & outbound despatch of product.
* Daily planning meeting with the Reed Boardall & Compleat management team to review previous days performance, outstanding
actions, plan for today & any risk ahead.
* Support delivery of the outbound transport plan, aligning Compleat / Reed Boardall / Primary Transport to an achievable plan.
Your Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and intended use.
* Ability to analyse and present operational Key Performance Indicators' (KPI)
* Familiar in the use of inventory control software for the receiving and issuing of stock in a manufacturing, coldstore or
warehouse environment.
