Join a leading, well-established, specialist building services contractor that delivers high-quality, innovative solutions across commercial, residential, and public sector projects for ventilation and smoke control. With a fantastic reputation and a healthy pipeline of work, they are now seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in the Northwest to be their technical point of contact.
Your new role
In this role, you will assist with mechanical design of projects from pre-construction through to completion. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be designing smoke control, performance lourve and ventilation systems on great projects, from high-rise residential, tall commercial buildings, car parks, football stadiums, and educational buildings.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a mechanical design role - ideally 3 years + in the UK
- Knowledge of mechanical design systems, especially ventilation systems
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
- Ability to work across multiple projects and deadlines
- Full UK driving licence
