Crynodeb
The post holder is an experienced clinician who, acting within their professional boundaries, will work flexibly to provide care for the presenting-patient, from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment to evaluation of care. The clinician in this role will be a key to supporting the clinical work across Mastercall, whilst acting as a positive and enthusiastic role model, supporting junior staff and developing our workforce. The post holder will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the out-of-hours, urgent care, IV service, alternative to transfer and walk-in-centre areas, supporting new work streams and services to manage patients out of hospital. The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively and flexibly with the wider healthcare team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, providing clinical leadership as required, using their own initiative. The post holder will participate in and lead change for the benefit of patients and/or the organisation and be a key member of the senior clinical team, identifying opportunities to innovate and work differently to meet the demands of the changing healthcare environment.
