Are you a passionate, hands-on nurse leader ready to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join a well-regarded care service in Blackburn, supporting the Home Manager in delivering outstanding, person-centred care.
The Role:
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest clinical standards are maintained. You’ll lead by example, providing mentorship to nursing and care teams, overseeing care plans, audits and compliance, and stepping up in the Home Manager’s absence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a skilled nursing team to deliver safe, compassionate care
Oversee clinical governance, audits, and compliance with CQC standards
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Support staff development through training, coaching and appraisals
Deputise for the Home Manager when required
About You:
Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with valid NMC pin
Strong clinical background with leadership experience
Excellent communication and team management skills
Passionate about delivering high-quality care with a person-first approach
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing needs
