- Collaborating with the class teacher to develop and implement personalised learning plans tailored to each child's specific needs
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to children with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the attention and guidance they require to succeed
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to a wide range of learning styles and abilities
- Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and a love for learning
- Monitoring and assessing children's progress, keeping accurate records, and communicating regularly with the class teacher and parents
- Attending and contributing to meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest practices in EYFS and SEN education
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children in an EYFS setting, preferably with exposure to supporting children with special educational needs
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the unique learning needs of young children
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
