Pay Rate: £460 - £500 per week
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (term time only)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term with the potential to become permanent

Are you passionate about supporting early learners in their first steps through education? Long Term Futures is seeking a caring and committed Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary setting in the Wyken area of Coventry.

This role is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's development, providing both whole-class and targeted support within Reception. The position is available on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year, with strong potential for a permanent contract.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting whole-class teaching within Reception, ensuring pupils are engaged and learning effectively
- Delivering phonics sessions and early literacy support
- Assisting children with additional needs, including those with Autism (ASD), using strategies such as Makaton or PECs where appropriate
- Working alongside the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored learning plans
- Creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- At least 1 year of experience in a primary school or preschool setting
- Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- Strong phonics experience and the ability to adapt support to meet individual needs
- A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
