We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and compassionate individual to join our friendly team on Women’s Health Ward as a Ward Managers Assistant.
This is a vital role supporting the Ward Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the Ward, ensuring high standards of patient care and supporting clinical and administrative duties.
Previous experience in a Healthcare Setting or Ward environment is desirable, but training will be given. Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and use initiative.

• To provide a support service to the ward team.
• To perform all allocated clerical tasks required to meet the needs of the service.
• To undergo training as necessary to meet the needs of new developments within the service.
• Utilising Microsoft Office packages including Excel (Spreadsheets), Word, Access (Databases), Publisher, PowerPoint and E-mails to provide an efficient service for the ward when required.
• Respond to enquiries from other wards/departments (personal, written and telephone) ensuring good communication and appropriate response.
• Provision of administrative support for the ward manager.
• Demonstrate initiative, tact and ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
