An outstanding secondary school in Harrow is seeking a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher to join their dedicated and high-performing Mathematics department. The ideal candidate will have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a strong subject knowledge of Mathematics, with the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 to 4, and ideally Key Stage 5.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs who are committed to raising standards and delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to pupils of varying abilities

  
  

• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum

  
  

• Track and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback

  
  

• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

  
  

• Contribute to the wider school community and department initiatives

  
  

• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement

  
  Requirements:

  • UK-recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

    
    

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject

    
    

  • Proven experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting

    
    

  • Strong classroom management skills

    
    

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students

    
    

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
