What skills and experience we're looking for

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support pupils in the dining hall and playground, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
• Encourage good table manners, positive play, and social interaction.
• Assist the class teacher in the classroom with general duties, supporting pupils with their work and helping to create a positive learning environment when required.
• Deal with any incidents promptly, following the school procedures.
• Provide basic assistance to pupils as required (e.g. with meals or general hygiene needs).
• Maintain order and discipline in line with school policies and ethos.
• Support the school’s safeguarding and health & safety practices at all times.
• Promote and model our school values: Be Responsible, Be Kind, Be Respectful, Be Curious, and Be Resilient.
• Complete regular safeguarding training and any other relevant training as required.

• Demonstrates the ability to build positive, professional relationships with children and colleagues
• Demonstrates patience, fairness, and consistency.
• Can work effectively as part of a team and follow school procedures.
• Shows commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of pupils.
