Job Description
Job Title: Family Solicitor
Location: Liverpool
Salary: up to £40,000p/a DOE
We are currently recruiting a Solicitor to join the Family Department of our client, based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Department and will be joining a highly professional and motivated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage own caseload across a variety of Family matters (including Legal Aid).
- Handle client meetings, negotiations, and court hearings.
- Draft legal documents and applications; provide advocacy where required.
- Supervise and support junior staff.
- Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to business development and maintain client relationships.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Family Law, including Legal Aid work.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent client care and communication abilities.
- Advocacy experience desirable.
- Commercially aware, proactive, and passionate about Family Law.
- Panel membership or own referral source is advantageous.
